Out of the Box

Once safely inside the walls of the Penn Museum, the boxes of objects were removed from their packing inside the crates. Both were not only full of objects, but also empty boxes and foam. The empty boxes and foam served to stabilize the boxes of objects during their travel to ensure nothing was jostled during the trip. Here, the team works together to transport the objects from their home in the crates into a climate-controlled room where they sat untouched for twenty-four hours.
